The GCN has been designed as an RFID reader-agnostic platform, enabling organisations to use their existing RFID infrastructure wherever possible. The GCN B2B RFID App communicates with commercially available UHF RFID readers via their manufacturer SDKs and APIs, allowing businesses to continue using compatible readers already deployed throughout their operations.
This means that brands, manufacturers, warehouses, logistics providers, retailers, repairers and recyclers can generally read washable RFID tags using their existing EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C UHF RFID readers without investing in new scanning infrastructure. By leveraging equipment already in use across global supply chains, organisations can significantly reduce implementation costs, minimise disruption, accelerate DPP deployment and maximise the return on existing RFID investments.

Chafon H102 Reader is a portable handheld Bluetooth UHF RFID reader that links to GCN's downloadable App (approx. €97 / USD $110 per reader plus shipping). The H102 reads and writes EPC Gen2 (ISO/IEC 18000-6C) RFID tags, with anti-collision technology that lets it inventory up to 30 tags per second in bulk.
Its read range of roughly 1–3 metres makes it suited to garment handling, stock counts, warehouse operations, product authentication, and DPP scanning.
The Chafon H102 Reader connects to the GCN App via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) on iPhone or Android.
