DATA COLLECTION AND AVAILABILITY

1. GCN is both a centralised and decentralised smart tech data collection and communication platform to connect products to a circular economy. 

2. It facilitates collaboration to enable multi-stakeholders to capture continuous verifiable open source data in real-time. 

3. Data includes how it should be cared for by the custodian plus information on repair, reuse, disassembly for recycling. 

4. With unlimited data storage GCN collects and retains granular information including the 'holy grail' of data; the product's full lifecycle LCA including emissions and pollution mitigation.

5. We can create multiple "digital bridges" to the App that are connected then disconnected along the brands supply chain ie; manufacturer, brand, department store then open source.

The DPP's app offers unlimited data storage and connects products to the Internet of Things and robotics

The app continuously captures data along the products lifecycle each time the thread is scanned. Data collection includes; but is not limited to the following

1. Owners Information. Manufacturing location (generic for LCA) and for product authentication

2. Raw material location. Textiles, trims etc (generic for LCA) and Certification

3. Product Information: Product name, ID numbers BarCode.

4. Material and chemical Composition: Raw materials, fibres, chemical compliance, assist in recycling and reuse especially fibre to fibre for safer new textiles. Assist sorting, recycling centers. 

5. Returns and take-back programs. Re-connects to brands SCM via passcode, Warranty for damages, repairs

6. Manufacturing Date and Location: show environmental footprint, track LCA, emissions, product longevity.

7. Assembly Information: 3D design, circular design strategies, product repair, disassembly for efficient recycling.

8. The “R-Cycle”: Data is open source for partners and resource recovery sector to scan and see existing data to assist repairs, disassembly, recycling, plus add new data, repairs, rent, resale, reuse, redesign then recycle, remanufacture, regenerate to repurpose. 

9. Certifications: Circularity Standard/Certification to show certifications and circular systems.

10. Lifecycle Assessment: Records each stage/journey along lifecycle, from raw materials to feedstock.
    Provides unprecedented LCA, EPR, SDG information including “waste” mitigation and emissions sequestration data.

11. All data contributes to the Impact Rating Certification.
