To boost a rapid pivot to a circular economy that benefits people and planet, the Global Circular Network aims to work with all value chain actors to connect textile-based products to circularity — guiding brands, businesses, non-profits, charities, government bodies and research groups to link through an equitable, inclusive circular economy.
GCN works with brands of all sizes and in particular MSMEs to switch to Circular Business Models plus offers free connectivity for downstream value chain actors who purchase an RFID reader and download the GCN App for free.
Curious why our website is so black?
Curious why our website is so black?
Just like Blackle we aim to save energy because the screen is predominantly black. "A monitor requires more power to display a white (or light) screen than a black (or dark) screen." (Roberson et al, 2002)
We encourage users to set Blackle as your homepage. This way every time you load your web browser you will save a little bit of energy. Remember every bit counts! You will also be reminded about the need to save energy each time you see the Blackle page load.
