CIRCULARITY IN ACTION

• Brands and businesses can add a RFiD THREADS® DPP to both new and recovered products. Use a simple RFID reader to connect the products to the GCN App to retain the traceability information plus collect new data as it moves around a circular economy. Brands can opt to also connect external software including SCM and LCA platforms via a digital bridge.

• When the 'relationship is over' or a product needs repair, brands can re-direct their customers to 'choose circular'. By scanning the QR Code or a NFC ID, customers/custodians can see suggestions on where to take their products for local repair or resell, rent peer to peer or donate. 

• Brands can establish relationships with clever local designers who upcycle plus transfer the RFiD THREADS® to the 'new' product, capturing the LCA data. All to extend the products life before the recycling stage, report on its repairability, usability, longevity and ultimately its circularity. This data is retrieved only through the RFID technology as the QR Code/NFC are not capable of meeting the requirements.

• By connecting with a network, brands can increase their ROI, especially if they have invested in circular design strategies from the get-go including use of quality, repairable textiles and fixtures. Keeping products in circulation helps to create local job opportunities first and boost economies, while also redirecting resources to optimal providers based on data-driven insights.

• Brands can prove their mitigation efforts throughout the entire lifecycle; from design through to manufacturing, including transport—the two primary emissions hotspots.
