IMPACT RATING CERTIFICATION
To assist compliance reporting and communication with the public GCN have created an Impact Rating Certification.
Using our unique data collection capability and metrics the Impact Rating Certification will be independently verifiable and based on agreed Standards to be published.
Brands can use to submit for compliance reporting plus use for marketing and PR to communicate to customers.
Brands and manufacturers in the EU are bound by laws specific to the region and are required to provide metrics for reporting compliance.
The Impact Rating is currently under review and will be published and shared with users in due course.
It includes, but is not be limited to, all existing Standards and Certification used to assist the published rating criteria.
The physical material and circular status will be separate from published ratings related to the Modern Slavery Act, Living Wages and ethical standards.
The Impact Rating can be used as a verified and verifiable Standard.
Capture mitigation data; from 3D design, to zero waste strategies plus carbon and waste mitigation
GCN aims for brands and authorities to use it as a support mechanism to assist compliance reporting.
Data requirements issued by the European Union and Cirpass will be used for standardisation.
The data collection will be protected by database rights.
Permission will be given to use the data for research purposes.
European Union Cirpass DPP-related Standards Dataset
"The ESPR specifies essential requirements for the DPP system in its Articles 9 and 10, and Annex III. Based on these high-level requirements, the EU Commission is mandating the European Standardisation Organisations (ESO’s) to propose harmonized standards for the DPP system based on appropriate existing and new standards corresponding to a number of areas of standardisation. It is requested by the Commission that these standards should be available by the end of 2025.
DATA, METRICS AND REPORTING
RFiD THREADS® are scanned and collect data via the GCN cloud app platform
Data is collected at each new scan; eg returns, resale, rent, repair, reuse, redesign then recycle, repurpose, regenerate.
At point of entry data can either be connected to a brands internal supply chain management or kept as open source to collect data at each stage.
Advanced RFID based inventory management is offered to brands who choose to connect to their internal SCM software via a "digital bridge" and accessible to brands only.
Omni-channel strategy to streamline production, supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, retail etc.
At Point-of-sale any connection to brands SCM is disconnected.
Brands can connect pre-existing data sets, and if compatible, add LCA software to the GCN app to simultaneously collect data feeding directly into brands own IP data collection for increased efficiency.
