UPSTREAM DATA POINTS
UPSTREAM DATA POINTS
Brands can populate their own DPPs after purchasing DPP Packages or request the Circular Data Centres to prepopulate DPPs which are then sent to the Brands product manufacturers who add DPPs to their textile based products.
GCN Upstream Data Pre-Check Checklist
The checklist below is an indication of the data points able to be put into the GCN DPP. After purchasing DPP Packages, full Data Point Spreadsheets are sent.
DPP Issuers/brands are sent a full Upstream product entry list along with the DPP Package to help gather this information before starting a new entry — having it ready in advance will make data entry significantly faster.
Having certification PDFs, facility contact details, and material breakdown percentages ready in one place before you start will make the Upstream entry process significantly faster — allowing brands of any size to populate hundreds of unique product DPPs simultaneously plus create Product IDs to print onto swing tags plus a QR Code to communicate with consumers.
No customer data is collected or able to be linked with a product through GCN's B2B circular pathway platform. GCN's DPPs are switched off into OUT. Consumer Privacy Mode at Point-of-Sale or any stage ready for distribution. The DPP is switched on again when it returns to the Network able to see product information and update circular data at scale.
Brands can increase their ROI through Circular Rewards, secure trusted, verifiable upstream and downstream data via Circular Metrics and promote their circular actions and networks through Circular Stories.
EXAMPLES OF UPSTREAM DATA. The GCN App is a step by step guide to add all relevant data according to the product type, local regulations, geography, standards, certifications etc. Learn more about the GCN DATA FRAMEWORK.
Full data point checklists are sent with DPP Packages.
